Web Hosting Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of web design and hosting services by Web Design Yonet (“the Company”) to its clients (“the Client”). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

  • Company: Web Design Yonet, located at 12 Brockman Road, Maidstone, ME15 8TH.
  • Client: The individual or entity receiving services from the Company.
  • Services: Web design, development, and hosting services provided by the Company.

2. Scope of Services

The Company is providing web hosting services as agreed in the project specification document. Hosting services include server space, uptime guarantees, and basic technical support.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are based on the selected hosting package and are payable in advance.
  • The Provider reserves the right to modify fees with reasonable notice, 3 months in advance.
  • Non-payment will result in service suspension or termination.
  • Payment will collected every month, and depends on date of signing up for web hosting plan.

Service Availability and Uptime

We strive to maintain a high level of service availability for our website, aiming to ensure that the server is operational and accessible to users at all times. However, due to factors beyond our control—such as cyberattacks, technical failures, or other unforeseen disruptions—our server may occasionally be unavailable.

While we make every reasonable effort to provide continuous service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The anticipated average uptime for our server is approximately 98% per year. This means that there may be brief periods when the website is inaccessible for maintenance, upgrades, or due to external events such as cyber incidents.

The Company provides three different web hosting packages:

  • Pro Business Web Hosting – £34.00 /month (min 12 months contract)
    • 5-20 web pages
    • ~ 10,000 Visits Monthly
    • Free SSL
    • LiteSpeed Web Server
    • cPanel Powered
    • Web hosting for 1 Domain (1 website)
    • Storage – 2BG
    • Discounted from £45 per month
  • eCommerce Web Hosting – £49 / month (min 12 months contract)
    • 10-30 web pages
    • 10 Products
    • ~ 10,000 Visits Monthly
    • Free SSL
    • LiteSpeed Web Server
    • cPanel Powered
    • Web hosting for 1 Domain (1 website)
    • Storage – 5GB

4. Hosting Services

The minimum term for hosting is 12 months. After this period, contracts will renew on a rolling basis unless canceled with 30 days’ written notice. The Company reserves the right to suspend hosting services for non-payment or breach of these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Client retains ownership of all content provided to the Company.

6. Warranties and Disclaimers

The Client warrants that all materials supplied (e.g., text, images) are owned or licensed by them and indemnifies the Company against any related claims.

7. Liability

The Company’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the services in question. It is not liable for indirect damages such as loss of business or profits resulting from service interruptions. 

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 60 days’ written notice.

9. Data Protection

The Company complies with UK GDPR regulations. Data collected during service provision will only be used as necessary for delivering services.

10. Modifications

These terms may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of significant changes. The Company reserves the right to modify these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms. By using the Services, the Customer agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved under this jurisdiction.
