Terms & Conditions

1. General Overview
Web Design Yonet provides freelance web design and development services specialising in custom-built websites using platforms such as WordPress and Shopify. By engaging my services, you (the Client) agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Project Scope and Deliverables
All work will be detailed and agreed upon before the project begins, including timelines, deliverables, and costs. Any additional work or amendments requested outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

3. Content and Images
All written content, images, logos, and other media must be supplied by the Client unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Client is responsible for ensuring all materials are properly licensed and free from copyright infringement. Web Design Yonet is not responsible for delays caused by late delivery of content.

4. Design & Development Tools
Web Design Yonet creates websites using trusted third-party design and development tools, such as Kadence, Elementor, Divi, GenerateBlocks, and similar professional frameworks. These tools are used to deliver flexible and scalable designs.

Web Design Yonet does not use off-the-shelf or pre-made templates. All site layouts and structures are built specifically for each project.

5. Payments and Deposits
Projects typically require a non-refundable deposit before work begins, with remaining balances due upon project completion or according to the agreed payment schedule. Final payment is required before website launch or delivery of final files.

6. Revisions and Feedback
The project includes a defined number of revisions, as stated in the proposal. Additional revisions or significant directional changes may be subject to extra fees.

7. Third-Party Services
If third-party services (e.g., hosting, domain registration, plugins, fonts) are required, the Client may be responsible for purchasing or maintaining these. Web Design Yonet will advise on recommended providers but is not responsible for service interruptions or costs associated with third-party platforms.

8. Intellectual Property
Once payment is received in full, the Client owns the final website design and content as delivered. However, ownership of the underlying frameworks, tools, and any proprietary configurations remains with Web Design Yonet.

9. Liability

Web Design Yonet will exercise reasonable skill and care in the performance of all services, in accordance with industry standards and the specifications agreed at the outset of the project.

9.1 No Guarantee of Uninterrupted Operation Web Design Yonet does not warrant that the website will operate without interruption or error, or that it will be compatible with software, platforms, or devices beyond those specified in the project agreement. The Client accepts that websites are dependent on third-party hosting, browsers, and platforms outside of Web Design Yonet’s control.

9.2 Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Web Design Yonet’s total liability to the Client — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

9.3 Exclusion of Consequential Loss Web Design Yonet shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, loss of anticipated savings, or damage to reputation — even if Web Design Yonet has been advised of the possibility of such losses.

9.4 Client and Third-Party Modifications Web Design Yonet accepts no liability for any faults, errors, security vulnerabilities, or degradation in performance arising from changes made to the website by the Client or any third party after delivery. Any remedial work required as a result of such changes may be subject to additional charges.

9.5 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for:

Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

10. Cancellations
If the Client cancels a project after work has begun, fees will be charged based on work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable.

11. Acceptance of Terms
By commissioning Web Design Yonet, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
